Hwin and Little Bear

Hwin and Little Bear seem to run the family, so it was only fitting to use their names for our publishing company.  The addition of Little Bear to our family was the icing on the cake.  She makes us laugh every day with her antics.  She definitely has a big personality for such a little horse!

Our Human Family

Here we are on one of our only vacations in the past 10 years.  That’s Jeff on the left, my incredibly patient husband who seems to stay positive with all of my crazy ideas.  That’s Tyler, the tall one.  Right now he is studying in Denmark and says he wants to live there.  I have a feeling he won’t be home much anymore so we will have to finally take vacations just to visit him!  And Todd is on the right.  He is a sophomore in college right now.

Holly Young - Editor

Holly Young is a native of New Hampshire, growing up in Rye and never moving, or working, more than 25 miles from there. She’s never regretted it. For more than 40 years, she has been a writer, editor, photographer, and whenever she has the time, a gardener. Writing became her passion in high school, and she was mentored at the University of New Hampshire by the late Don Murray, a Pulitzer-prize winning writer and professor. She honed her editing skills as a journalist and then as a book editor while working at UNH. She adores Hwin and Bear, loves her three good dogs, Harry, Cali, and Thulie, and looks forward to working on children’s books, because they are the most fun. You can contact Holly directly to help edit your manuscript.  Once you have completed all revisions, you can send your final product to us to design your book!
